Installatie
- Download the plugin ZIP file.
- In your WordPress admin panel, navigate to Plugins -> Add New.
- Click the “Upload Plugin” button, choose the ZIP file you downloaded, and click “Install Now.”
- After installation, activate the plugin.
- Go to Documents in your dashboard to start adding content.
- Use Document Types to categorize.
- Visit /documents/ for the archive or use shortcodes in any page.
FAQ
How do I create a document?
Just go to “Documents” in the admin menu and click “Add New.” Each document acts like a post.
How do I categorize my documents?
Use the built-in Document Types taxonomy. You can add/edit terms while editing any document.
My theme is block-based. Will this plugin work?
Yes. It auto-generates archive and single templates for FSE themes. If your theme doesn’t pick it up, use the shortcodes to build your own template.
I changed themes. Do I need to reconfigure?
Nope. The plugin automatically detects and regenerates needed templates for your new theme.
Can I disable the styles?
Styles are minimal and scoped to docs only. If needed, override them in your theme’s custom CSS.
Will this slow down my site?
Not at all. It uses no JS, loads no extra assets outside one css file per each doc pages, and manipulates queries without altering global behavior.
