Privacy Policy
Gossiped Comments connects to the Gossiped API (gossiped.com) to store and retrieve comments. When users comment, the following data is sent to Gossiped:
- User’s name and email (if provided)
- Comment content
- Page URL and title
- IP address (for spam protection)
- User agent string
This data is stored on Gossiped’s secure servers. Users can delete their data at any time through their Gossiped account.

Installatie
Automatic Installation:
- Log in to your WordPress admin panel
- Go to Plugins > Add New
- Search for “Gossiped Comments”
- Click “Install Now” and then “Activate”
Manual Installation:
- Download the plugin zip file
- Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin
- Choose the zip file and click “Install Now”
- Activate the plugin
Setup:
- Go to Settings > Gossiped Comments
- Sign up at Gossiped.com if you haven’t already
- Add your website in your Gossiped dashboard
- Copy your API key
- Paste it into the WordPress settings and save
- Your site will be automatically verified

Do I need a Gossiped account?
Yes, you need to create a free account at Gossiped.com to get an API key. This allows you to manage comments and access analytics from the Gossiped dashboard.
Is it free?
Yes, Gossiped is completely free for personal blogs and small sites. We offer premium plans for high-traffic sites with advanced features.
Will this replace my existing WordPress comments?

Yes, you can ban or suspend users from your site through the moderation panel. Bans are site-specific and don’t affect other sites.
What analytics are included?
View comment volume, top commenters, article performance, geographic distribution, engagement patterns, and live viewer counts.
Does it work with caching plugins?
Yes, Gossiped works with all major caching plugins including WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, and WP Super Cache.
Can I use it with other themes?
Yes, Gossiped works with any WordPress theme.
