Installatie
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/version-assets/directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen in WordPress

Just what I was looking for! Useful If you are using a Child Theme which uses the parent theme’s Version instead of something like a hash or timestamp or file modification date
