Cache Using Gzip

Cache Using Gzip is designed for users who want noticeable performance improvements without dealing with complex caching settings or bloated plugins. Activate it and enjoy faster page loads with minimal configuration.

Most caching plugins try to do everything. Cache Using Gzip focuses on doing one thing well — serving fast, gzipped cached pages.

  • Simple setup — no technical knowledge required
  • Lightweight and minimal
  • Works with Apache and Nginx
  • Ideal for beginners, bloggers, and shared hosting

How it works

The plugin generates static, gzipped versions of your pages and serves them directly to visitors, reducing file size and server processing for faster responses.

This plugin does exactly what it’s supposed to do better than any other “hybrid” optimization caching plugin I’ve tried (I’ve often found the comprehensive plugins problematic with some of their changes). The .htaccess file is optimized as well, to take maximum advantage of gzip compression and cache expirations. The annual feel is extremely reasonable for the added options the plugin provides. Very highly recommended.

Very helpful and quick to set up caching plugin. I immediately got a performance of 94. Before, I was at 61!
