Installatie
- Upload the
adcaver-ad-helperfolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory, OR install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
- Go to Settings > Adcaver Ads.
- Follow the instructions on the settings page:
- Sign up/log in at adcaver.com and submit your site to get your Site ID and (if needed) Verification Code.
- Enter your Adcaver Site ID in the settings field.
- If provided by Adcaver, paste your Verification Code into the settings field.
- Configure automatic ad placements for posts, pages, or homepage.
- Enable the desired overlay ad formats (Vignette, Anchor, Sticky Bar).
- Save changes.
- If you entered a verification code, go back to your Adcaver dashboard and click the button to verify your site.
FAQ
Where do I get my Site ID and Verification Code?
You get these from your publisher dashboard on adcaver.com after you sign up and submit your website for approval.
Do the overlay ads (Vignette, Anchor, Sticky Bar) require shortcodes?
No. If you enable them in the plugin settings and have entered your Site ID, the necessary scripts will be loaded automatically on your site’s frontend.
Does this plugin display the ads itself?
No. This plugin manages the settings and loads the ads from adcaver.com. The actual ad fetching and display logic is handled by adcaver, connecting back to the main Adcaver ad server.
How do I get started with Adcaver?
Visit adcaver.com to create a publisher account and submit your site for approval. Once approved, you’ll receive your Site ID and can start monetizing your content.
